Not abandoned but barely used - mostly for garbage collection. Seven active grade crossings with no protection – crews have to use flags to stop any traffic. There used to be crossing gates, but they were deemed unnecessary due to lack of traffic. Speed limit is 10 mph. It is now run by the New York and Atlantic Railway.
